Responsible for the development and execution of product management launch plans and budgets Manages product forecasts, sales trends and demand generation activities. Responsible for profitability of product line - manages list prices and discount levels. Monitors competitive landscape and develops and executes programs to ensure competitiveness. Explores, and defines market needs, directs and coordinates work schedules with the development, manufacturing and QA teams. Defines objectives and working plans and determines modes of employing resources in order to attain objectives and meet schedules. Serves as a professional authority for subordinate employee with regard to problem solving and coaching. Job requirements: Mandatory: Former Experience with heading product management for a public company Fluent English Has a flare for communication and dealing with internal as well as external customers. Ability to communicate (both written and orally) exceptionally well, translating highly technical concepts into business terms. Expert in use of communication tools such as Powerpoint High degree of organizational skills - the ability to prioritize and regularly re-prioritize as needs change. Individual must be viewed as a leader within the company being the representative of the product line ensuring it's success. Advantages: Experience with 10Gb Ethernet and storage technologies. Past experience in networking system companies Experience with server OEMs / past sales expertise and or systems engineering expertise. Formal Product Management Process experience.
